City of Romulus
Department of Public Works

This 65,000 s.f. award winning facility houses administrative offices, mechanic shop, parking garage with a vehicle wash area, and a 116’ diameter salt dome.

The design of this facility challenged the typical pre-engineered building system with varying roof heights, accent trim, split-faced block, triangular bronze glass accents, and all glass overhead doors. It will be a beacon for new DPW facilities in the future.
